When I was in Melbourne recently, I sat in with Bruce Milne on his Sunday night 3RRR radio show Where Yo Is. It was the first time we'd shared the mic in a radio studio since 1978, when we presented a show together on the then-fledgling Triple-R called Know Your Product. We were the station's token hardline punk rock guys, but even then our Saturday morning show was filled with as much classic old stuff as new releases. Now it's all old, including us! After making an appearance talking about life and my work in general on ABC Classic FM's Midday Interview hour with Margaret Throsby on Thursday 9 July, and after appearing on Radio National's Music Show on Saturday 11 July talking to Andrew Ford about Buried Country, I was in Melbourne on Thursday 16 July presenting a free screening of Buried Country at MAYSAR (Melbourne Aboriginal Youth Sport and Recreation Co-Operative), as a joint production of Songlines, Leaps & Bounds and the Gertrude Street Projection Festival, and which also included a live set by Vic Simms and Luke Peacock.
