With not one but two new-old products coming out at the same time – a new Australian edition of Highway to Hell, and a new edition of the Buried Country CD, with the BCD1.5 especially getting some great response – I was in Melbourne to launch both between November 12-14.

It was a lightning but busy visit, and in addition to checking out the Goethe Institut's Geniale Dilletanten: Subcutlure in Germany in the 1980s at the RMIT Gallery, to whose Australian component 'Ingenious Amateurs' I contributed some artefacts for display (see photo below), my schedule unfolded as follows:

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12:
  • Interviewed on David Heard's 3PBS radio show Acid Country, which you can listen to here
  • Highway to Hell book/beer/art-poster launch at the Cherry Bar, bought to you by Young Henry’s, see photo below
FRIDAY THE 13th:
  • In Coversation with Archie Roach at AWME, by way of simultaneously launching BCD1.5 and the 25th anniversary edition of Archie's groundbreaking debut album Charcoal Lane, to which I have contributed some liner notes
  • In Coversation with Archie Roach at Readings, St.Kilda, 6:30, see photo below
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14:
  • Interviewed on Denise Hylands' 3RRR radio show Twang, which you can listen to here
